Hello, my name is April, and I am a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist with over 25years experience.
I have worked in various establishments from corporate seated massage in offices, massage clinics, for osteopaths and chiropractors, in a hotel day spa as well as for myself. Whenever I travel, I always take advantage of learning various styles of massage therapy techniques and apply them to my repertoire of skills.
I enjoy a challenge, adapting my techniques to suit everyone. Remedial massage is not a quick fix but a series of holistic treatments to unravel the stress induced muscle and connective tissue tension, creating mindfulness for one’s own health and well-being.
Stress can build up from as far back as childhood and is not exclusively mental, emotional, and physical but can be related to diet, psychosocial (relationships), environmental and psycho-spiritual (values). Once the tension has been released, it opens the mind and body connection and allows you to think more clearly and therefore bring you closer to inner peace.
Massage is not only a luxury, but also a necessary part of health and well-being maintenance.
