Hi, I am Sara Barr and I run KIDS ART CLASS.
I have an art degree from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee. I am a qualified Primary School teacher and I have had experience teaching all stages of the curriculum, for nearly 20 years now.
I have 3 children of my own, whom I have enjoyed bringing up and being creative with. I am passionate about art and the positive impact it has on our mental health.
I have always had a dream of becoming an art teacher. With my children now grown up, at the start of 2022 I decided to leave my teaching post and start my own business teaching art to children through after school classes and holiday art camps.
This meant I could combine my two passions of teaching and art!
During the holiday art camps the children can enjoy longer art projects that are busy, fun and creative.
My holiday art camps are aimed at providing childcare if required or shorter morning and afternoon sessions to keep the kids busy in the school holidays.
Each session the children produce an art piece to take home.

My weekly art classes provide a hobby for children who want to have fun, be creative and meet new friends. Each week they experience different art medium and skills and take home a completed art piece that they are very proud of.
