My name is Karen Roberts and I qualified as a beauty therapist in 2003 gaining my higher national diploma from Dundee College. Once qualified, I worked full-time in two busy salons over a seven-year period which helped me gain experience and confidence.

I always had the urge to be my own boss and with support from my husband and family, I became self-employed.

I strive to be as professional as possible and my clients the best and most up-to-date treatments available. Lady Tonic is always expanding as I develop new skills throughout the year.

My entire career has been in the beauty industry and my ambition was always to be the one who could teach my skills to others in the way that I experienced. I've previously taught in a college environment where I gained my teaching qualification.

I enjoy passing my skills and knowledge on to others and I find teaching to be extremely rewarding. Juggling my own full-time job working as a lecturer at college proved difficult as there were simply not enough hours in the day. Wanting a change, I created my new brand Lady Tonic during the national COVID lockdown. I know teach classes from my own salon on a 1-1 basis.

We also offer a personal range for women of all different ages to help enhance their natural beauty by helping to grow your own eyelashes and eyebrows with our scientifically formulated growth serums.

Here at Lady Tonic, we believe that we should enhance our natural beauty instead of using lash extensions which can cause harm to our eyelashes. Our serum has helped thousands of women grow their own lashes and help them feel more confident and pretty.
