Hi, my name is Nicola McBride, I graduated from Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen with a BA Hons degree in drawing and painting in 1997.
I use the medium biro pen to develop still life compositions focusing on iconic foods and retro objects which stems back from her childhood. I am heavily influenced by the 1950s Pop Art movement and their fascination of imagery from popular and mass culture.
I use my iconic compositions to produce a wide, affordable range of quality gift merchandise from limited edition Giclee prints, mugs, bags, greeting cards and coasters.
