LOW IMPACT FORESTRY
Ochil Forestry is a brand-new business founded in the summer of 2023 and is based in Perth Scotland.
After working in the arb industry for 8 years it was time to set off on our own path, and so Ochil Forestry was born.
We specialize in low impact forestry & woodland management, offering our clients more environmentally friendly methods of timber harvesting.
Traditionally timber is harvested with big machinery for efficiency and to deliver the required tonnage to the roadside. This does, however, have its negatives, and can leave lasting damage to the forest floor as well as standing trees.
Our approach is to use lighter, more nimble machinery that can carry out extraction whilst minimizing damage to the ground, leaving a tidy and healthy woodland.

Our team provides a wide range of services to the highest standard, including:
Woodland Management
This includes woodland thinning, clear fell, storm damage & timber extraction.
Tree Surgery
All aspects of tree surgery including pruning, dismantles, stump grinding, felling & crown management.
Grounds Maintenance
We also offer a grounds maintenance service including grass cutting, strimming and scrub cutting, hedge cutting, soft landscaping, fencing & much more.
We cater to all clients both domestic and commercial and are fully qualified & insured.
