Phoenix Home started off as a side hustle really.
I have been working with wood in one way or another for over 20 years, from picture framing, then boat maintenance, then boat building, then moving on to Wine racks, timber/resin tables and bigger items such as sheds and summer houses.
I decided to take the business full time 2 years ago after a successful two years of running it part time, alongside my then job that I had also cut down to part time hours.
I went full time with the business but was somewhat limited with the workshop, although it helped me get the business going on a strong foot, it was clear that I had to move into a more customer friendly work zone.
I recently moved the business into the centre of Perth at Ladeside Business Centre and have introduced picture framing back into my range of services. something I have been keen to do for some time.
